Mary at Bunratty Lodge is offering my readers a rate of €30 pps per night for a two-night stay (or longer), even high season. One-night stays are €35 pps. This offer is good all year even high season, weekends and holidays.
Bunratty Lodge is a charming B&B with spotless, very comfy rooms and elegant public areas. Renowned for true Irish hospitality and an excellent breakfast with homemade baking, this flawless lodging is an area favorite for actress Maureen O'Hara. (It's my favorite too - but I'm not as famous as Ms. O'Hara!)
Email Mary and tell her you read of my special offer. Tell her you were thrilled to see it, thank her for her kindness for making the offer to everyone and you are wondering if you can get it now. Don't forget to mention my name!
I just got a note from Mary saying she forgot to include some vital info in the offer. I have changed the original post to reflect it. It is €30 pps per night for a two-night stay (or longer). Mary apologized for the mistake.
You have to try Mary's brown bread. Even if you are not a bacon fan, she makes the best most tasty bacon in Ireland. And if you like fresh fruit with yogurt Mary serves it in a sundae glass. Very elegant and fun.
I'm glad to see all the great reviews of Bunratty Lodge. We are also only planning to spend one night and it sounds well worth the E35. That is what is so great with this forum. Real people speaking about real experiences.
Bunratty Lodge is well worth the 35 euro. Please tell Mary that you are one of my forum members. She will take extra special care of you! You must try her brown bread with butter and preserves. I'm making myself hungry.
Bunratty Lodge was fabulous!!!! My ONLY regret is that we only spent one night there. Mary is awesome and extremely accommodating. Her home is beautiful, very spacious, and welcoming. Her breakfast is to die for!! Especially her brown bread, Michelle!!! She immediately remembered my parents and they had a grand time catching up. Bunratty Lodge is tops on my list for a future return visit!!!
Welcome back! Glad to hear you enjoyed Bunratty Lodge.
I hope you will have time to post a trip report. The one thing I can't wait to hear about is your chauffeur-drive car company. How did that work out for you? Would you recommend them?
