Avoca House, Drumcondra

Hi Michele

I live in Ontario however was born in Belfast. I regularly return for vacations to visit friends and family. This year we have decided to visit Dublin and spend a few days there. I wonder if anyone there has stayed at the Avoca House B & B- I can't find anything in Trip Advisor - it seems to be a very nice spot.

I would really like to stay at a B&B, but having done quite a bit of research on sites like Trip Advisor, there are so many horror stories out there I am almost afraid to book anywhere

Any input on this B&B you could share with me would be most appreciated.

Thanks and have a great day.

Hello,

I looked at Avoca's website: http://www.avoca-house.ie/ I am not familiar with this B&B. The location is not ideal for visiting Dublin City. You might want to consider being south of the Liffey instead, closer to the action. There are mostly hotels and guesthouses in this area. Another option (if you don't mind busing into the city center) would be the Ballsbridge area.
