Thank you, that made my morning, when we were in Ireland I had to to tell people that I was hard of hearing so they would repeat what they had just said to me, it didn't help.

My late Father in Law was from Mayo I had no problem understanding him and the rest of my Wife's family is from Kerry. I never had that much of a problem understanding folks in Ireland, but when I did there was always someone nearby willing to help me. The Irish are the most gregarious people I have ever met, and that goes most strongly of my Bride of 41 years.smile

My brother in law's name is John Joe, so it's an extra chuckle. He can't understand me any more than I understand him sometimes!

This is an oldie from about 1984 from the Canadian comedy team call The Funny Boys, when I was a much younger man four decades ago or so this is how I thought my In-Laws talked.
