WESPORT

Planning our 4th trip and this time bringing our 2 grown kids for a brief 7 night romp flying into Shannon for the first time. So far we are in Doolin 2, Westport 2, Galway 2, Bunratty 1. Been to all but Westport. Any suggestions on  accomodations  in Westport?

We have been to Westport the past two years and stayed at Linden Hall and Boulevard Guesthouse.  Linden Hall is a good location, great service, and nice breakfast.  Boulevard Guesthouse is a nice place in a great location, but the service is not great and the breakfasts by far the most sub-par we have had in Ireland.  Have not stayed at the places Michele notes.

It is a wonderful town to stay in.

I second Glenderan in Westport. It's outside of town but only a short walk to town.

The Castle Court hotel is pretty good. Don't forget to check out the green-way bicycle lane, i think its over 40km long, its got good views.

I'm partial to the Wyatt Hotel. Nice hotel in the best possible location. However, not as cost effective as a B&B that's for sure.
