B&B recommendations in Ballyvaughan, Kinvara, Kildare, Kenmare for September?

Eyes glossing over at Tripadvisor, looking for personal experience here. 5th trip, have not stayed in Kinvara or Kildare before.

I have always stayed in Fallon's in Kinvara.  Its located in the heart of town and Maura is wonderful.  She makes you feel right at home and her breakfasts are delicious.  Its a great town - central to a lot of sights in that area

Ballyvaughan and Kinvara are very close. Are you choosing between them or staying in each place?

One or the other. We've stay in Bv at Ocean view. Not much in the way of pubs with trad music there.

Not a LOT of choices in Kildare, either. cry

My 'Go To' accommodation there is the Lord Edward, attached to The Silken Thomas.  http://www.lordedwardkildare.ie/lord-edward

Large, spacious rooms at moderate rates, off-street parking and walking distance to many of Kildare's charms.

For entertainment, there's the Silken, or Tiger Lily's.  Just across the street, something may be on, at Cunningham's.

See this report, for Kinvara area: http://ireland.activeboard.com/t57506934/west-of-ireland-trip-april-25th-to-may-5th/

Can't help with Kenmare, much, as I'm a Killarney kinda guy!  biggrin  biggrin

We stayed at Driftwood in 2007 and found it quite nice.

Water's Edge in Dingle: http://www.watersedgedingle.com/ Self-catering apartment. It is gorgeous. There is another Water's Edge in Castlegregory, which is a small self-catering cottage.

Not too far from Baltimore is a fabulous B&B perched on a cliff with an accessable beach below: Henry's

Are you sure you have the towns right? They seem completely mixed up to me. Oceanville in Kildare? There is no ocean in Co. Kildare. There is a Dunlavin in Dingle but not in Bunratty. Fastnet house seems to be in Baltimore.

You will want to look at a map of Ireland so you know which towns you actually want to stay in. Then you can see which B&Bs are in which town. I would hate for you to arrive in Kildare looking for Oceanville!

Here is a PDF map of Ireland you can print: http://www.tourismirelandinfo.com/downloads/Ireland%20Map%20Detailed.pdf

This is how I read it:

Oceanville, in Ballyvaughn

Castleview, in Kildare    ---  WAY out of town -- half way to Monasterin, actually.

Fastnet House, in Baltimore  --- Haven't stayed here, but have heard good things about it.

Watersedge, in Kenmare

Dunlavin, in Dingle

Headley Court, in Bunratty    GREAT B&B!  One of my favorites!

Keep posting and we will try to decipher. I just wanted to be sure all was okay with your plan. It would be horrible to turn up for a reservation only to find out it is in another place.

Bob, Thanks for figuring it out.
