Something to be aware of... We are currently in Ireland, rented from Dan Dooley in Dublin. Last night in Bushmills, NI, had a flat tire. (OK, so my hubby bumped the curb pretty hard when parking for dinner.) We decided to have dinner, since we had a reservation, and change the tire after dinner and call Dooley in the morning. Surprise! No spare, no jack, no wrench - no nothing!! Ended up calling a tire service to come and replace the tire for 120 pounds - eek! I am thinking that Dooley will get the car back in better condition than it was when we picked it up! __________________ Elizabeth

Oh my! That was a big problem. I always suggest checking for a spare tire and equipment before leaving the car rental parking lot. I usually inspect the outside of the car first for dings, scrapes, etc. Then before putting the luggage in the boot check for everything else.

Be sure to complain when returning the car.
