In to Dublin out of Shannon

Hello all,  I apologize, Michele, I posted this under the trip report section unknowingly....

Our ideal would be to fly in to Dublin and out of Shannon.  We have chosen dates in late August through early September.

We can live with Dublin for both arrival and departure if needed.  I can hardly believe I found an Aer Lingus nonstop from DC to Dublin roundtrip for around 900.00.

How does one accomplish booking different arrival and departure sites and is there a significant cost differential?

Thanks as always for your sage advice.

Marie

Good fare! Have you booked it yet or are you still looking? There could be a cost difference when flying into Dublin and out of Shannon. You have to go to the airline website and explore the possibilities. Click on Multi-City.

Hi Michele,

Thanks for the multi city info.  I would never have noticed it!  It's about $100 cheaper to arrive in Dublin and depart from Shannon.  I need to hurry and book it before they change their minds.  biggrin  Just need to finalize with the other side and then it's a go.  I will asking for lots more good advice in the coming weeks and months.

Marie
