Forum Member Writes Novel About Ireland

One of our own - Christy Nicholas aka Green Dragon - has written a novel set in Ireland during the famine. Legacy of Hunger is available for pre-order for only 99 cents. I haven't read it yet but am looking forward to it.

Thanks much for the share! I've included many places I've visited and love, some of them thanks to your own wonderful advice. Ardara, Achill Island, Kenmare, Lisdoonvarna, etc. :D

Can't wait for the release! biggrin At least you know what you are writing about. Too many novels set in Ireland don't have a clue. no

LOL! Too true. I did have to do a lot of research to find out what was actually there (or could be there) in 1846. I contacted several folks I met in Ardara (including the McHughs that own Nancy's Bar) for great information. They were able to share some old photos of the town with me, as well.
