We have a trip booked for May 5-14th 2017. Flying in and out of Dublin. Our first stop is for 3 nights Oranmore near Galway. Planning on going to the Aran Islands. Any Suggestion on which Island of the three is recommended or are the Island recommended at all? Also, I was looking into taking taking a flight instead of the ferry but the flights seem to be suspended. Any information if they will be flying again. I contacted the Airline and they said to check back as they are negotiating a new contract.
Welcome to Michele's Forum!
Most visitors to the Aran Islands opt to visit the largest island -- Inis Mor, although all three are accessible. They each have their individual charms and appeal, and they present an entirely different face for those who manage to spend an over-night.

Here's the website for the alternative flight option: http://www.executive-helicopters.com/ They fly out of a different airport than the aerarranislands planes.
