Farmhouse for rent near Ring of Kerry

Greetings again,

There is a really cool-looking farm house for rent in Adrigole. It has to be rented for a week. Would this be a good location to explore the southern area near Ring of Kerry, Cork, and Kilarney or is it too remote? Would it be better to drive the Ring and stay in different places along the way?

Adrigole is located on the southern part of the Beara peninsula, which is not part of the Ring of Kerry. If your plan is to explore the Ring of Kerry and Killarney I would think being closer to Killarney would be more convenient.

Thanks. I looked at the map and saw that it was quite far south, but thought I would ask about distance. Staying in different places would be more fun anyway.

For the SW I recommend either Killarney or Kenmare. Either one would be a good base.

Love Beara, best of the south east peninsulas but Adrigole wouldn't be an ideal location for a week as a touring base. have a look at Tara farm Kenmare they have a couple of self Catering cottages.
