Roscommon accomodations

We will be staying in Roscommon on Friday night May 18th - any recommendations for a hotel or b&b. Our relatives are staying at the Abbey hotel and it is full as there is a wedding that weekend.

The wedding could be a problem especially if it is a large gathering. Sometimes small towns get totally booked up for weddings. If that is the case I have a rec for Longford, which is not too far away.

Gleeson Townehouse is booked full - However, I found availability at the Arch House bed and breakfast for a family room which should be spacious as there are only 2 of us at 111 euros not bad, there have been mixed reviews on breakfast. I am getting different responses when I google search how far this is from the  House Hotel? It seems to be very close.
I just received an email from the Abbey house and they have a cancellation and gave me the reservation for 232 euros for a double room...is this hotel worth the double price of the Arch House? . The rest of our extended family will be staying at the Abbey so I am considering. I can cancel the reservation up until 5/16 at both Places.
Thanks!

I have no personal knowledge of the Abbey Hotel but it gets mixed reviews online. Have you seen Ross House B&B? It has good online reviews.

Ross House was my first inquiry...BOOKED Full. Does anyone have any experience with a stay at the Arch House Bed and Beakfast?

Google Maps says Arch House is about 1 1/2 miles from the Abbey House Hotel.  No personal experience but the place appears to be a modern, purpose-built B&B that is described as clean and comfortable.  From reading the reviews, it seems like Worst-case, you might need to buy a second breakfast.  confuse   hmm   confuse

I can not speak too highly of www.rosshouse.ie/ and the Host Teresa O'Hara. We arrived with some difficulties and Teresa helped us dealing with our problems and saved our vacation and our time in Ireland, plus Ross House is just a great place to stay.
