New Forum Section: Ireland: Circle of Friends

Hi Everyone,

You will notice a new section of the forum. It is password protected and by invitation only. You are not missing out on anything.

It is a section for a few of us who love Ireland and are trying to make a living in an entrepreneurial way. We are just brainstorming and sharing tips. It is nothing that the general public who is planning a trip to Ireland would be interested in.

The reason I have it as a section of the forum is that it is a good meeting place for us to have our discussions, since we all met here in the first place.

So please just ignore it and go about posting in the other sections. Thanks!

Michele

So how does one meet singles between 50 and 60 years of age in Ireland? Taking my first tour in early Oct, can't wait to meet the people, see the land and enjoy the pubs! Wanted to drive, but found out the sheep have the right of way, so taking a coach Pub and Folk tour, spending our last night (additional) in a Castle hotel near Shannon.
I am really enjoying your site, which I found when looking for Internet Cafe's in Ireland.

Becky,

Welcome to my forum. I don't know what tour you are taking but the Lisdoonvarna Matchmaking Festival is on in early October every year. You can certainly meet people in pubs, at public events, things like bingo nights and dances.
