Just a quick note to let travellers from Southern Ontario and Western New York know that the Scottish airline FlyGlobalserve will be flying from Hamilton International Airport (YHM) starting May 1. This airport is a great alternative to the very busy Toronto airport and is about 35 miles from Toronto. They will be going to Dublin, Shannon, Belfast and various destinations in the UK. Every time I have flown to Ireland or Britain from Toronto I have met Buffalo area residents taking advantage of the direct flights just as Ontario residents often drive to Buffalo to fly to U.S.A. destinations. The Hamilton Airport is closer to Buffalo and much more accessible. Remember that prices on FlyGlobalserve's site are in Canadian dollars. http://www.flyglobespan.com/ca2/index.asp
Thanks very much for the update. That is valuable info for everyone and I appreciate your letting us know. It will make getting to Ireland easier for a lot of people!
