I'm guessing you mean County Kerry? I'm not familiar with any B&B's in the area, other than Dingle and Killarney. There is a B&B by that name in Tuam. Is that it?
We did a self-catering in Killorglin for a week one summer. I've driven through Milltown a few times, but it was usually enroute to somewhere else. Seemed like a nice little town, but I would think that there would be more to do in Killorglin. Two GREAT places to eat (Benz Cafe and Dev's On The Square) and we attended a lively music session in The Old Bridge Pub (right next to the Old Bridge!!)
Do you have a link to St. Anne's? I'm curious, now.

I'm sorry, Bob, I should have realized there is more than one Milltown in all of Ireland. The one I am asking about is indeed near Tuam. Here is the link; not a true website but a Tuam link: http://www.tuam-guide.com/st-annes-milltown.htm .
We aren't really interested in anything to do there except sleep and probably eat dinner since it'll be our first day there and we'll be lagged, and want to get on the way to Knock first thing the next morning. Killorglin would be a little far to go for dinner!
Looks quite interesting, actually. Looks to be about 1/2 way between Tuam and Claremorris. The link lists 'local' atractions as Galway City, Ashford Castle (Cong) and Knock Shrine, so probably not a real tourist hotspot.....
Sounds like my kinda place.
Nearby is Castlebar and Westport, Lenane and the Doo Lough drive through Delphi and Louisburg. Lots of scenic wonders and all on a working farm ...
When are you going? If it's before Mid-June, let us (ME) know how it turns out. Looks like it could be worth the extra detour miles to stay there, rather than Oughtergard.

Sorry, we're late September. It does look like a nice place, but then nobody puts up a bad impression on their website, though some are better at it than others.
I'm going to sit down tonight now that Planet Earth is over and fire off some e-mails to get reservations for the trip.
Might be worth at least checking out, for you. If you do visit there, let me know how you liked it!
It does look nice and I noticed they have a triple room pictured. It is not on the usual tourist trail but might make a good overnight for your first day in Ireland.
