Well, the trip is just around the corner!  We leave in just one week on May 7th.  I haven't posted in several weeks, but I have to say thank you for all of the great input I received from you ALL while planning my first real vacation.  I couldn't have done it without Michele and everyone in this excellent forum.  We'll be ready to enjoy Ireland with Michele's book in hand.

Here is how the itinerary finally ended up:
Day 1:  To Doolin and stay at Daly's House
Day 2:  To Dingle and stay at Bambury's Guest House
Day 3, 4, 5:  Open and not booked.  TBA when we get there.
Day 6:  To Bunratty and stay at Bunratty Meadows

I left the middle of the trip open for the Kerry area.  I just couldn't decide on where to stay or how long we would spend in an area, so I left it open.  This will give my husband that feeling of being in some control of the trip when we get there, since he likes to "wing it" and I am the control freak.

We both received our passports just recently (just in time).  The flight is booked through Continental and the car through Irish Car Rental.  They were running a great May special when I was booking a while ago.  I'll be sure to post again when we return!!!!
