Michele,

I think the update is wonderful.   I tell people on other forums they can take your recommendations to the bank.   I know it's hard for you when ownership is changed before another visit or they go out of business.   Before I found you, I used Karen Brown, while many of her places were fine, just as many were not.  Every place I've stayed you recommended was just as you had described.   I among many others I'm sure thank you for the work you do for all of us to make our Irish trips wonderful.

Joan,

Thanks for letting me know that my recommendations are usually spot on. I only recommend places that I would tell family or good friends to frequent. Sometimes my quick picks go into the trash can but more often than not they turn out to be fine. I like to keep everyone up to date on good places to stay. My back is still suffering from one bed that was atrocious. Needless to say, that B&B did not get chosen!

Hi Michele,

We are booked into Highfield House in Trim on our last day, before ending up in Portmarnock.  Now, you have me a little concerned. It's only for one night, but if it is undesireable, might change.  What specific things did you find that you didn't like?
