I have reservations at Landfall House in Kinsale, but I can't find a map that will help guide me to it. There is a map on the b&b website, but it doesn't help lead me from the R600.
I'm kind of discouraged about the place because I sent a friendly email to the owner and she referred me to the map on her webpage. I wrote back that I needed help from the R600 to get to where I could follow her map, but I didn't get a helpful response. I've tried to find a map of Kinsale online that would show the area in which the house is located, but I haven't found one that shows anything but the historical center. Can you please help? You indicated you'd be staying at this place on your next trip. I have never been to the Kinsale area at all before.
You'll probably find that map more helpful once you get in to Kinsale town centre, since it focuses on landmarks, but I definitely agree that it could use a few more street names to help you get oriented.
Here's another map you can look at...http://www.friars-lodge.com/pics/map1.gif It's almost the same as Bob's, but it marks Friars Street and I believe the Friars lodge is near Landfall house (please, someone correct me if I'm wrong)...note the White House is Letter J on the map and St Multose is marked by church and a purple square midway down the left edge of the map.
From the R600 follow the signs to town/city centre and these maps should start making more sense.
Look at this map and the directions below it: http://www.woodlandskinsale.com/location.html Landfall House is just down the street from Woodlands and is signposted from the corner there. You can print it and follow those directions. They may not make sense right now, but once you are there it will be pretty easy. If you find any difficulties, stop by the tourist office in town and they will map it out for you free.
We stayed at Woodlands and Michelle is right - we saw the signs for Landfall House on our way up the hill. Kinsale town center was not that difficult to navigate through - you will do fine.
