I saw a very interesting show on PBS last night that may be of interest to those who like Irish history. It was on the series Secrets of the Dead and was called Irish Escape. It told the real story of 6 Irishmen who were transported to Australia and imprisoned in a remote "escape-proof" prison. It is the story of how they were rescued by their Irish American comrades and helped reignite the spark of Irish freedom, which later led to Ireland's independence from Britain.
