Bunratty pub

The only two pubs I have been at in Bunratty are Durty Nelly's, across the street from the castle, and The Creamery, which is across the street. Both are nice, although Durty Nelly's is the old establishment with music at times and the Creamery is a newer pub. Either is a good choice. I have not been to the place behind the castle, but I have seen it and know what you are talking about.

The Pub located WITHIN the Folk Park (but accessible after hours, through the "back" - or side gate next to the car park) is Mac's. Dunno how many locals still frequent it, though.

That's it! Thanks, the Wendy that has posted is my sister-in-law and I was trying to tell them about it before their upcoming trip....I knew it was a guy's name.

Thanks for helping out stannseniors while I was out of town. They have excellent sandwiches and pints at Mac's.
