If you are traveling within 60 days from July 1, then Chuck is offering a free Swift card for the first person requesting it. Check out his post. It is a good callilng card. If you are travelling in September or later you can buy one in Ireland or order in advance. Another good option is to pop into an Internet cafe where they have low-cost phone calls to anywhere in the world.

Thank you for the offer of the card, but I will be leaving Sept 30th and it sounds like that is too late. Thanks for the help as usual.

Another option is purchasing a phone. This one might be an option especially since it can be used in many different countries: $49 Mobal Phone.
