Ireland in November

Hello Everyone, I have a question about Ireland in November.

My mom and I are traveling to Ireland 11/21 to 11/29, not a long trip but rare and our first to Ireland.  I know some tourist sites may be closed as well as some B&B's, any pointers?  Thank you, any advice for travelling at that time of year would be greatly appreciated!

Jodie,

Welcome to my forum! The end of November has short days. Take a look at my "Weather" page for sunrise and sunset times. You will want to plan carefully to take best advantage of the daylight hours. Find out what is open and then plan your itinerary. You may want to have "rainy day" options built into your plans.

Once you have a general idea of what you want to do and where you want to go, research B&Bs to see which ones are open. You may even want to email the ones that appeal to you to be sure the owners will not be on vacation. It is fine to wing it in Nov, but do make reservations for Dublin.

Michele

P.S. Plan your itinerary so you do not have to drive at night.
