Dublin or a smaller town for Easter weekend?

Are we better off being in Dublin over Easter?  I am trying to work around closures, etc for the holiday.  Not sure if it makes more sense to be in a small town to indulge in walks and drives vs hoping Dublin sites are open on the Sat before Easter, etc.

Thoughts??

Thanks!

Jill & John,

The Saturday before Easter is no problem. It is Good Friday when things are closed. However, in Dublin there will be more open on GF than in a very rural area. In the countryside you have the option of doing a scenic day trip for GF. Whatever you decide on, you can work around the holiday and plan a good trip. Let me know what you decide and I will offer suggestions.
