Best Time?

Hello!

I am working with my sister to plan a trip to Ireland for our father and we found a deal that includes airfare and lodgings for 6 nights for a great deal, but it is really only works with all our schedules to go in February--is this not a good time to go?  None of us have ever been, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!  Or if someone could give me an idea of the pros and cons of going in February, that would be great as well!

Thank you for any help you can send our way,

Jennie

Jennie,

Welcome to my forum! The reason you found such a great deal is that Feb is definitely off-season. I have info about the best times for traveling to Irleand on my FAQs page. Basically, the weather will be cold, many sightseeing venues and B&Bs will be closed and you must always expect rain. You might luck out and get some good weather but generally Feb is not the best month to visit Ireland.
