I have noticed in reading trip reports from forum members that some of you obtained insurance to cover the CDW excess from insurance4carhire.  Is this reasonable priced insurance?  Has anyone that purchased this insurance had to file a claim with them and if so, how did the process work?  Were you satisfied with how they handled your claim.  What documents did you have to supply to them in order to file a claim.  Any and all help appreciated.

So far no one on the forum who has purchased the excess from insurance4carhire has had to make a claim. I think it is reasonably priced because having to replace one tire or a windshield could exceed what you pay. It is quoted in pounds sterling, which is about double the dollar right now. I believe they spell out the claims process on their website if you click through it and read the fine print.
