Thank you for all the info.  Now that we have an idea of where to go while in Ireland, The remaining questions are-Any suggestions for loding near killaroe? Not limerick-Would like to stay on river.  We will be starting first day with a day in Dublin -day 2 drive down through the mountains with various stops- Bray beach-Glendalough and spending one night in Enniscorthy-Next  day3 drive to wexford and tour wexford /Waterford area -Next  day 4 drive to Kinsdale for a two day stay to tour cork/Killarny area- day 6 drive to River Shannon for 24 hour stay including river boat drive for the day- next day fly out of Shannon.  Is this  asking too much? As you can see we still have a spare day-any suggestions on better use of 8 days ? Maybe Galway area?

Welcome to my forum! In the Killaloe area I would recommend Hawthorn Lodge (Mountshannon), Carramore Lodge and Hilsmiah Acre.

You are certainly moving through Ireland at a fast pace. Kinsale is not a good area to see Kerry from. Kenmare or Killarney would be better. Do not attempt to include Galway. Consider another two-night stay somewhere along your route.
