Have any of you visited Skellig Michael?  During our trip in May we will be staying at the Loch Lein Hotel for 2 nights.  Would we be pushing it to try to drive out to one of the boat launches, tour skellig, and drive back to the hotel one day?

Skellig Michael is very dependent on the weather and seas. The boats will not go if it ils rough, too windy, etc. You can do it from Killarney but would have to get a very early start. Check out the trip here: http://indigo.ie/~lavelles/
