Back in Ireland

Well, I'm here in Ireland and the sun is shining the plants are just budding out (a few weeks behind because of the colder than usual winter.

It's bank holiday weekend, the official start of summer here, but it's still a bit chilly, so it feels more like early spring. But the sun is shining and that is all that really matters!

How many Euros is it for a pint of Guiness? We're going on our first trip to Ireland next week!

Now I'm a man on a mission. I'm sure the price of a pint varies from place to place, so I'll have to check them all biggrin.gif

Corey,

Have a fabulous adventure. Make sure you eat my share of the Wexford strawberries. I  look forward to following along in your blogs.

The good thing about Guinness is that they'll always make more.

I'll be looking for the strawberry sellers on the roadside soon...it's still a little early.

Everyone is all abuzz for the bank holiday weekend...there'll be plenty of pints drunk this weekend. And the Gardi will be out in full force looking for "drink driving" and speeders. Fortunately, I don't fall into either of those categories.

I need to stoke the fire...after a gorgeous day, the night has turned quite cold.

Corey,

Glad to hear you are back "home" again. We will all be checking your blog and hoping for good weather and wonderful photos.

Michele

P.S. Currently a pint is running around 4 euro.
