Thank you once again for an amazing site, Michele. I dont think that I could have put this itinerary together if it wasnt for the wonderful posts and advise that I have received on this Forum.
Most of your itinerary looks great. The only day that is too long is June 7. I suggest you choose Beara or Mizen not both. Even doing just one and then the drive to Kinsale will be a stretch so get an early start. Out the door of the B&B by 8:30. If the weather is not cooperative it will be best to skip Beara and Mizen.
Have a wonderful trip and do let us know how it goes on your return.
Thanks Michele. I will take your advise and only do either Berea or Mizen. Pleased that you approve of itinerary. Spent hours working on it and am really so so so so excited. Thanks again for everything.
It's only a SMALL thing, but I think that you should 'DO' Connor Pass on Monday, enroute to Dingle, (assuming that the weather is good ) rather than Wednesday, when you plan to move on to Killarney. While the Camp to Anascaul road does have it's charms, skipping it should save you driving time that can be better spent, either strolling along Inch Strand, detouring via Kilorglin, or to just idly enjoy the charms of Killarney. The Gap of Dunloe tour doesn't afford any tour time of Ross Castle, nor Muckross House, Gardens, or Traditional Farms. You WILL have LOTS of daylight in early June, but many of the attractions will still be closing around 5 or 6 PM.
Having to chose between Bearra and Mizen IS tough, but Michele is right (as usual!) that BOTH would REALLY make for a Marathon Day....
Enjoy. We'll be arriving in Cork, from Amsterdam, exactly one week after you leave for London.
