I'm on a coin-charge computer at Harbour Mill in Westport. We have alternating spells of lashing rain, sunshine and gale-force winds for the last few days. I know that SOUNDS terrible, but I am LOVING this trip. No problems with rental car, so far, this trip. Visited Inish Mor Mon, due to weather on Sun and other 'juggling' of schedule. Went to just beyond the field gate on Croach Patrick -- might have done more, but younger folks than we were turning back due to the winds across the upper, exposed sstretches ...
More to come

Wow! Checking in are you! The weather sounds absolutely perfect! I love the wet and blustery days more so than the sunny ones. Mam has always said I was a bit odd.
I am glad to see you made it to Inis Mor, from where did you grab the Ferry, Doolin, Galway or Rossaveal?
I will look forward to one of your wonderful travelogues upon your return.
Rain squalls and Gale Force 7 & 8 Winds the last two days. Sat & Sun weren't much better in Galway, either ...
Climbed (PART) of Croagh Patrick yesterday evening and toured (MOST) of Achill, today. Visited the Deserted Village under light showers, but fled as a down-pour ensued...
Heading for Dub in the AM, via the N5 ...
LOVING (NEARLY) every moment.
Wife said, this afternoon, "What are we going to do, NEXT year?" ...
I'm a lucky man!

Thanks for checking in. I can't wait for the full report! Glad to hear you enjoyed Achill Island. Next time perhaps you can stay on the island. It really gives you a different experience. Did you get out to Keem Bay? It really is the back of beyond.
