Irish-American Roadtrip is Underway

Hello everybody,

Corey,

Loved the first installment of you, Liam and Fiona starting your trip. How great that you will get to meet Bit We want that on your podcast.

Wishing you safe travels and a fun trip.

Our next trip needs to include Georgia, so we can include a visit with you, Michele. It's been a great trip so far...we'll never hit all the stops on our wishlist, but we're having fun trying :)

Just posted video #2...more are on the way.

Corey,

Yes, next winter head south. It is warmer than what I saw on your podcast! I'm looking forward to more the moment I have a moment.

I'm trying to entice them to come to San Patricio for the St. Patrick's Day Rattlesnake Races next year. They don't even have to bring their own snakes; they can rent one from the snake wranglers. Now what could compete with that?

Dude,

It sounds like St. Patrick missed San Patricio, although the name sounds familiar! Snakes and green beer. Now that sounds like an interesting day out.

P.S. Corey has to come to Atlanta to see his huge smokestack: http://www.flickr.com/photos/zir6/2155865992/

And Captain Richard King, founder of the World Famous King Ranch (I used to work for them, but not in Captain King's day) was an Irish boy who ran away from an apprenticeship in New York and ended up a riverboat captain on the Rio Grande, then started buying up land between the Valley and Corpus Christi, which became at one time the largest ranch in the world.

But I think the San Pat celebration would be right up the boys' alley.
