Dublin at end of March

My husband and I are flying to Dublin for the last week of March and are staying there all week on a package deal.  We are thinking of doing day tours so see other parts of Ireland (Ring of Kerry, Cliffs of Moher).  We probably won't rent a car this trip, so this is just an introductory trip.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  Should we book the tours before we go (some want 48 hours notice)?  Thanks.

lbcpa,

Welcome to my forum! There is plenty for you to do in Dublin on your first two days. I suggest you see the city sights and then plan on your day trip tours.

Have you looked at RailTours? A couple of other tours I would do are north to Newgrange and south to Wicklow. There are quite a few tours to Wicklow, but I would choose the one that includes Powerscourt and Glendalough.

Be sure to stop by the tourist office in Dublin for other suggestions. Your hotel concerige may be of help also.

We would enjoy hearing about your week in Dublin when you return.

Michele
