Dear Valued Client, As of May 1st Europcar Ireland will be Murrays Car Rental. Murrays is dropping ties with Europcar. Your rates and reservations will stay the same, but you will now be picking up at the Murrays car desk. The vouchers and confirmations you have will still be valid for pick up. I have also sent a new voucher to your email which will state Murray's on the voucher. If you have any questions please call or email. We look forward to hearing form you.
Thank you, Mitch Kemwel Reservations
I trust that this is legitimate? Good grief. It came from mitch@autoeurope.com; in the To: line it says mitch@kemwel.com.
Granny and the Boys may end up with a truly interesting trip report of our hitchhiking around Ireland. I have not received the promised new voucher as of this writing.

It is true that Europcar and Murray's had a link. In fact in many places it was called Murray's Europcar. Sounds like a split. In this economy all sorts of things are happening.
But why was the email from autoeurope instead of Kemwel? I know they are "sister" companies. Maybe they have some reciprocal things going on?
Ask Kemwel what is going on. We look forward to hearing back about your detective work.
Michele
P.S. I edited your post because for some reason it was spread out sideways and you had to scroll back and forth to read it.

I shall phone first thing tomorrow. The Celtics beat the Spurs so I am in a very upbeat mood but too sleepy to make sense on the phone (or possibly on the computer).
I wondered what I had done to my post but am content to just blame the computer.
The very nice young lady at Kemwel assures me that this is legitimate. Autoeurope and Kemwel are sister companies which is why the e-mail came from Autoeurope.
