Does anyone have experience with including a side trip to Wales in their Ireland vacation plans?  Years ago I took the ferry from Holyhead to Dun Laoghaire, but I don't remember much about it.

I have never taken the ferry. I alwys fly between Ireland and the UK. Perhaps someone who has done it will chime in.
