Please recommend location/hotel for last day in Ireland

I have discovered that we leave very early out of Dublin so we will have to spend the night in the Dublin area. I would really like to just spend 2 days in Killarney and travel back to Dublin during the last day there. My husband would really like to spend the night in a Castle. Could we do that near Dublin? If not, would it be best to choose Balleyseed Castle for two nights or choose a country house hotel near Killarney? OH, I wish I had at least 1 more day!

Welcome to my forum. You could stay at Clontarf Castle Hotel in Dublin. Look at Earl's Court or Killarney Lodge for Killarney. They are both excellent and walking distance to town. If it were me I would spend two nights in Killarney.
