I have just pulled into my home to be greeted by a cacophony of howling puppy & meowing cats!
A Five hour lay over in Newark pretty much sapped me! I will be back in to give you all a full report sometime at the beginning of next week, as I have a wedding in which I am a bridesmaid this weekend. Nothing like hitting the ground running!
A Few Highlights(In No Particular Order):
A ten o'clock PM tea with the third cousins I had help tracking down in Belleek, Newry Co Armagh on my first Sunday
An 8 o'clock coffee and dessert, in Roscommon town, with another relation whom I had no idea lived in Athlone..that was last Wednesday
Meeting Dave & Karen (Youngka) at the Ferry and the lovely sunny day we shared on Inis Mor, beautiful scenery, ancient ruins and the best fish & chips....don't bother ordering the Cod..they've none in!
Meeting Michele & Barry, as well as Mary Browne, at Bunratty Lodge.... lots of chat, good food and great craic!
Hiking the Slieve League Cliffs on a dismally cold wet and gusty day.....I couldn't think of a better way to spend it than there doing what I was doing!
Welcome back, Bit. Rest up, so you'll have plenty of energy to tell us tales of your trip. I love that your first listed highlights involved food...you know Liam and I are foodies ;)
Welcome back from Ireland. What a pleasure meeting you and settling in for a good chat at Bunratty Lodge. It is so nice to be able to put a personality with your face on your photo.
Thank you for the CD and tea cakes. Barry has already eaten most of them. Although I was able to steal one for myself. As soon as I have a moment I will be unpacking and listening to your music. Hey, maybe I should do both at the same time.
