HELP!! Car rental only 24!!

A quick check suggests that Dan Dooley offers rentals to those aged 24 and above, WITHOUT penalty fees, although they DO access them on drivers aged 21-23.

Here's a direct quote from their Terms and Conditions: Drivers: Must be between the ages of 21 and 75 to rent a car, with surcharges applied to drivers between 21 - 23 and 71 - 75. Minimum age for rentals at Knock Airport is 25. Executive cars and Minibuses have age restrictions and drivers must be 28 years old to drive class H/I/K/W1/N/Z.

There may be others, but just off the top of my head. confuse

Welcome to my forum. It is great that you are going to Ireland. I know you are excited about your trip.

As Bob has said Dooley rents to those 24 and older with no extra fees. Each car company has their own rules. That is what makes renting a car in Ireland so time consuming. You must go to each website and first read the fine print and all the rules.

Thank you for your help?? Would this be the same company as Dooley Vacations? I got the cheapest quote i could find from them and on their website www.dooleyvacations.com it says their hours are mon-friday and saturday 11-3pm. I have been calling all morning but keep getting a recording that they are closed..

The only thing is that when i put in my information on the travel agency page it is giving me a quote MUCH less than the dan dooley website?

Those online booking engines are confusing. The Dooley travel agency site is giving me higher prices than the Dooley car site! Just wait and call them Monday. Or call the number I gave you and negotiate.
