You don't need a visa, but you MUST have a Return ticket.
You WILL need a passport.
Passports cost about $100 and are good for 10 years.  It takes 4-6 WEEKS to get one.
Londonderry (OR, DERRY -- depending on your political leanings hmm biggrin yawn ) is in the United Kingdom, rather than the Irish Republic.  You SHOULD be OK for up to 120 days as long as you do NOT work while there.  If you plan to do so, or wish to stay longer, you WILL need a visa.

The nearest major airport to Paintsville is Lexington (about 100 miles away). CURRENT prices for November (I used a departure date of 9 Nov and a return date of 30 Nov -- actual price will vary, depending upon MANY different factors confuse confuse ) and I came up with a Delta flight, LEX to Atlanta (ATL) and then ATL to DUB (Dublin) for just under $900.  Belfast would probably be a bit MORE.  There are currently NO sales for November, though, so those prices MIGHT drop.  I would GUESS a ticket could be had for somewhere between $650 and $1100, depending on dates, connections, etc....
