Made it there and back

It has been a crazy 6 weeks but I made it to Ireland and back and will try to scratch together a trip report. I haven't even looked at the photos yet.

While I was gone, I was working to finalize the sale of my current house, purchased a new one the day before I left, the sale of my home fell through, got two more offers and did the paper work online to accept one, all while in Ireland. Upon return, I had to move out of my house. I'm currently brain dead.

This was a poorly planned a trip as I have ever done because there were a few things I felt I needed to do and they weren't close to each other. That said, I made it to the following places:

Belfast
Ballycastle (NI)
Dunfanaghy
Adara
Westport
Galway
Dingle,
Ennis
Dublin

Too much for two weeks, but I survived. I'll tell you all more soon. But feel free to congratulate me .... I'm temporarily homeless waiting for my new home to be ready.

Bill

Welcome back, mo chara.....

What an adventure you must have had. I look forwar to the telling....some time after you have found a permanent residence...and settled in

How did you like Ardara? Did you make it to Asaranca Falls?

Slan agus barrogs,

Your trip may not have been as well-planned as you would have liked but you certainly had the timing right! Congratulations indeed, I'm looking forward to your trip report. A couple of years ago we spent a week self-catering just across the street from Nancy's Bar in Ardara - long enough to put the little town on my list of favorites.
We are now looking forward to about 3 weeks in the Southwest starting May 10.

Bill,

Welcome back from Ireland. I can't believe you did all that while away. Now you need a vacation. Hope you get everything sorted out with your house, etc. We are always hanging out here when you are ready for your trip report. Looking forward to it.
