Because car rental is such an issue, thought I would report on our 6 night trip through Sceptre tours. We stayed at Adare Manor villas and had a car rental through Dan Dooley. Our car was a brand new Ford Monteo about the size of a Taurus. Very, very nice car and we got great mileage! Since it was new, we were really careful about our driving, although we drove some really, really narrow roads!  When we returned the car, the fellow looked it over very carefully, so be certain about the condition when you return it. I took pictures of the car.  I also took my TomTom GPS and it was great to have - it helped us immensely even though it got confused with the new construction around Limerick.
