Doing Loop head and Dingle what about the Ring of Kerry

Still trying to plan our trip.
Doing Loop Head on the drive down the Clare coast
Staying two nights in Dingle do we need to do The Ring of Kerry.

Should we take out loop head and do ring of kerry
or are both of them a must!

Not sure what to do.

I did both and enjoyed Dingle Loop more...it was just as beautiful. The only thing I took away from ROK is 1. A broken passenger side mirror (didn't realize you could push them in) and 2. braggin' rights, (even though I don't have anyone to brag too.)

Don't push in your mirrors its Illegal, just take a little more time and let the others move over as well. If you have time to fit things in then do but don't force yourself to make time for things you have either read or heard about.

While driving ROK (in reverse) a tour bus pushed me into a rock wall...I would have chanced breaking the law by pushing the mirror in instead of having it torn off...guess we all just have to weigh our options based on what consequence we desire...

Floss,

The ROK is certainly not a "must see" if you prefer to see and do other things instead. You must tailor your trip to your needs. Since you have two night sin Dingle you may be pleased enough with the Dingle peninsula and Slea Head Drive.

Not only is it not a must see, but at least for myself I much prefer Slea Head and the Dingle area.  Less crowded and the views are just as good!  smile
