Trinity College and St. Ann's -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi: I leave for Ireland next week, hooray! I was wondering, would it be less crowded to visit Trinity College on a Sunday or a Monday? Those are my only choices for visiting the campus and the Book of Kells. Is there a book store open on both days to buy a Trinity College t-shirt?
Also, I was thinking of attending evening mass at St. Ann's church. Good choice?
Either day could be crowded at Trinity. It just depends if there are any tour buses coming through when you are there. Opening hours of the Book of Kells: Monday - Saturday 09.30 - 17.00; Sunday (Oct. - May) 12.00 - 16.30; Sunday (June - Sept.) 09.30 - 16.30.
Opening hours of the Library Bookshop: 9.30 - 5.00 Monday to Saturday; 12.00 - 4.30 Sundays. Web site: www.tcd.ie/Library/Visitors/
St. Ann's is Church of Ireland (not Catholic). For more info see: www.connect.ie/ccp/stann0.htm That site also has info on times of worship, etc.

I keep getting amazed by all the Protestant churches. What's your recommendation for most impressive old Catholic church in Dublin?
Thanks! ATM

You might try Saint Mary's Pro-Cathedral www.procathedral.ie/ or St. Audeon's. If you will be in a particular area of Dublin try looking at these web sites to choose one near where you will be: www.dublindiocese.ie/parweb.htm & www.catholicireland.net/
