Can you tell me the finest place to stay in Kinsale? We would like to be close to the city and will require a no smoking deluxe room or suite. We are looking for a luxurious experience. Thank you.
The best close-in place to stay in Kinsale is Perryville House. It is a completely no-smoking guesthouse right in town overlooking the harbor. I think it will perfect for you. Take a look at their web site: www.perryvillehouse.com/
Enjoy your trip!

Re: Kinsale's Finest Another suggestion would be the Charthouse in Kinsale. I was very impressed. and as a bonus , Mary the owner gives fantastic driving directions to get you to your next stop!
Superior place to stay in Kinsale We visited Kinsale in May 2003 and were disappointed to find a huge construction site directly in front of the Chart House. Parking there is very limited. The Perryville House looks good. The Old Presbytery also looked very nice and I think it has it's own parking.

Kinsale's Finest Hi Kevin,
You might want to check out Walton Court Country House. It's not in Kinsale but is about 15 minutes from downtown. I haven't stayed there yet, but have reservations for August. The website is Waltoncourt.com. It looks very nice and relaxing and a bit different from all the other places we will be staying at on our trip to Ireland.
Thanks for all the suggestions. Cathy, Walton Court looks intriguing. We would love to hear your feedback when you return from you August trip to Ireland. I have checked out many, many places in Kinsale town and, in my opinion, Perryville is the nicest (and most expensive!) Wish I could afford to stay there myself.

Charthouse in Kinsale Wondering if you know if the construction in front of the Charthouse is completed or, if not, when it will be. We'll be in Kinsale for 2 days in late September and are considering staying there. Any other recommendations (Perryville is too $$ for us).
What part of Atlanta do you live in? I'm in East Cobb. I suggest sending Chart House an email to ask if the construction is still ongoing. I'm afraid I didn't get to Kinsale in May. So many places, so little time on my last trip.
