Leaving a Week from Today. Am I Going to Survive

Our flight takes off almost exactly one week from today (10-11).  We've started packing (for real).  All reservations have been confirmed, the car has been hired, and the flight's confirmed.  How am I going to survive this next week?

If you are anything like me --- with a GREAT deal of anguished anticipation ...

The time WILL pass, though it may doubtless SEEM to do so VERY slowly ...

Have a Wonderous Adventure.

Ditto that Bob! But of course, the week waiting will seem like 2 or 3, and the time there will seem like less than a week!

Have a wonderful trip and hope the time goes real slow.

I always find myself putting my mind on 'hold' in the final lead-up to a trip...then, all of a sudden I'm surprised to be leaving. Have a great trip.

Just slip into Irish mode early, slow down, smile at everyone and put stress in the bottom draw.

Rich,

I like Tony's ideas. You could also visit your local Irish themed pub for a pint of Guinness, make a banoffee pie or some Irish soda bread and look online at images of Ireland. Before you know it you will be landing in Ireland.

Bon voyage and have a wonderful trip!

Thanks everyone.  The Guiness idea is my favourite.  Ri-Ra (local Irish pub) here I come.  Fortunately work is a zoo this week.  No time to think about the trip and slow down time.

Rich,

With your hectic work schedule the time will fly. Enjoy Ireland! We are looking forward to hearing all about it on your return.
