Hi John,

Take a look at the Irish Rail site and see if you like the schedules: www.irishrail.ie/home/

Great!

I took the train all over Ireland while I was there, the first trip being from Dublin to Killarney. I believe there was at least five trains a day, but check the site. It's a nice trip that took approximately 3 hours if you took the direct train. There are some trains that require you to transfer somewhere so make sure, when looking at schedules, that you get the one that doesn't require a transfer. It makes a lot of 'whistle stops' along the way, and my ticket was checked at least three times so keep it handy. I went on a Saturday morning and it wasn't too busy.

Hi Anita,

Many thanks for the first hand scoop on the Dublin to Killarney train.
