Irish Car Rentals I just got a really good quote from Irish Car Rentals (substansially lower than either Hertz or Dan Dooley).
Has anyone used this company? I'd like to know if they are reputable before I book. Also, if I use a platinum MC should I still purchase the CWD? I'd hate to get stuck with extra charges.
I have heard of several people who have used Irish Car Rentals with good results. Just be sure to read all the fine print and conditions to see about their cancellation policy, etc. If your platinum MasterCard covers you in Ireland (15 days max) you must also get the approval of the car rental company to be able to decline the CDW and be covered by MC. If you can do this it will save you quite a bit of money.
Always lots of loose ends to tie up before a trip.

Re: Irish Car Rentals If you intend to use the MC coverage, you MUST decline the CDW that the company offers. If you don't, it will negate your MC coverage. The coverage with MC has no deductible, where as basic CDW almost always carries a high deductible.
