My wife and I are going on a Celtic Tours tour starting March 26th.
We are staying at the following hotels.
Anyne have any "Must Try" Pubs or Restaurants ?

Connemara Gateway Hotel, Oughterard
Wyatt Hotel, Westport
Yeats Country Hotel, SLigo
Imperial Hotel, Galway

Hi Mark,

I thought I would respond under this post. We are very excited-other than my wedding day or the birth of my children I don't think I have ever looked so forward to anything in my life.

Our overnights will be in Glendalough, Cashel, Kenmare, Killarney, Dingle and Bunratty.

We leave in 24 days, but who's counting?

Have a wonderful trip.

Hi Mark,

By my count it's now 21 days! You must be getting very excited. Here are a few recommendations from me:

Oughterard: O'Faharta's (excellent Irish stew)
Westport: The Asgard Restaurant and Bar at the quay
Sligo: The Waterfront Restaurant and Bar at Rosses Point, Yeats Tavern at Drumcliff, Bistro Bianconi in town and don't miss Hargadon's Pub
Galway: Park Room Restaurant (in the Park House Hotel), The Malt House

I'm sure some of the others will list their favorites too.

Marcia,
Be certain to visit both lower( visitor center) and upper Glendalough. The lake was beautiful to look at as the sun was setting during our visit.
