Break time in Ireland

Hi everybody,

i'm going to Edinburgh to visit my family for a week! i haven't seen them for a long time and i love this city! everything there pleases me :)

after that, i want to go to Dublin, i've never been there and i heard so many nice things about it :)
my best friend will join me and we will stay there 4 days!
we don't know where to stay at, and we were hesitating between a hotel or a hostel?

my friend, she found this: http://www.hostelbookers.com/hostels/ireland/dublin/ and http://hotel.twenga.co.uk/ireland/dublin-dublin.html

are the hostel nice in Dublin? because they are cheaper so it'll be better! :)

thanks for your help :)

happy new year!

Keyla,

Welcome to my forum. Hostels are a cheap way to stay in Ireland. However, some hotel chains are offering very low specials so don't discount them. Travelodge is currently offering rooms for 19 euro. That is lower than a hostel.

I don't stay at hostels so can't tell you what they are like. The general consensus is that there are good ones and very bad ones. Choose carefully.
