Kilkee Cliff Walk

Michele, I found a vague reference concerning and Cliff wlak in Kilkee. We have decided to do LOOP Head and thought we would stop here on the way. Do you have any details about this?

We were going to stop at ballybunion and do the cliff walk if the weather cooperated, but perhaps we will go here and take more time driving loop head.

Also how long is it from Kilkee to the LOOP Head?

Thanks
Mary Ellen (30 more Days!!!)::rollin

Hi Mary Ellen,

Yes, there is a cliff walk at Kilkee. It takes about 40 minutes to an hour to drive from Kilkee to Loop Head, mainly because there are so many photo ops if the weather is good. Be careful at Loop Head as there are no guard rails. You can walk right down to the head and up and around the lighthouse.

Kilkee

Thanks Michele for the info. Do you have any reccommendations for B&B near Kilrush, or across the ferry into Talbert? I think we will like to take our time around Kilkee and Loop head so we will need a place to stay near there.

Re: Kilkee

Hi Mary Ellen,

Sorry, but I don't have any personal recommendations for this area. Perhaps someone else will have one for you.

Michele
