Self cater accomadations

My husband & I will be spending two weeks in Ireland in early September.  Are there self cater  accomadations that are avalible for only two people who want to rent them for a week ?

Suzy,

Of course there are. My husband and I do self-catering in Ireland all the time. Have you looked at my Self-catering Page? I also have more listings and reviews in my book.

Do you have any idea of where you want to self-cater? Will you do a mix of one week self-catering and one with B&Bs?

Myself and Chris have been renting self catering for the two of us for years from one bed cottages to 6 bed houses. For us its the location then the cost the number of rooms never comes into the equation.

Two couples, 4 adults, are renting a self catering house near Millstreet, County Cork in March. At 170 Euros for the week, it figures about $15/person $30/couple per night. For 1 couple/2 people, the amount would be double,  but it would still be in the price range or lower compared to renting a B&B/hotel room. Price is usually based on a week of lodging, not the number of people. Dan

March prices can be almost half early September prices. July and August are the most expensive months to rent but you will see this as you look through your potential choices.  The two sites I use are;

My wife works in the school system so we are limited in when we can travel.

We wre thinking of renting a self cater  for a week & B&B's the other week.
I will have a look at you self cater accomadations page.  Also I'm planning on purchasing your book, when will the 2011 edition be avalible ?

Suzy,

Most weekly self-catering rents from Sat to Sat. Keep that in mind when planning. If you have an idea of where you will do the self-catering let us know and perhaps we can recommend a place that will suit you.
