Best places to stay in Dublin...and Kenmare & Dingle

Anyone have a place they love to stay in Dublin?

I'm hoping to spend about $100 a night for each night of our 13 nights in Ireland. I'm looking for good choice in Dublin, Kenmare and Dingle if anyone has any favorites.

Thanks!

Amy,

For Dublin look at the O'Callaghan Hotels, Brooks and Buswells. You may have to spend a little more to stay in a good central location.

Kenmare: Arthur's Lodge Wood, The Lodge, Driftwood, Willow Lodge, O'Donnabhain's.

Dingle: Coill an Rois, The Shores, Tower View, Dunlavin House.

Be sure to look at my Hot Offers section for lots of discounts.

I decide to go with a hotel in Dublin, but am still looking for B&B's in Dingle and Kenmare. Does anyone have additional favorites they can recommend? I checked out the "hot offers" but still haven't landed on just what I'm looking for. Any more thoughts????

Thanks!

We stayed here, with our daughter and her husband, in 2004 and were very pleased, though it IS an uphill hike from town -- confuse confuse

So, we drove ... biggrin biggrin

No advice for Kenmare, as we usually stay in Killarney ...

Amy,

I have other favorites in each area but they are above your price range.

You might try Emlagh Lodge in Dingle. Although it is usually booked solid at most times. Give it a shot anyway.

Also, try Oldchurch House and Whispering Pines in Kenmare.

Anyone have any experience/thoughts on The Lantern Townhouse in Dingle?

Amy,

I've not inspected it. Right in town could be noisy.
